I am a postdoctoral scholar at the Department of Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno. I received my PhD in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and received my Master of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Before starting my current position, I was a research fellow at the Survey Research Center at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
I am a labor economist by training, with primary research interests in Labor Economics and Employment Relations: occupational regulations and labor market institutions in the US labor market, particularly the US healthcare industry. At the same time, I am a scholar of aging with research interests in workforce aging, retirement, and cognitive health of older workers.
I currently teach undergraduate Business Statistics courses and PhD Labor Economics at the University of Nevada, Reno.
