About

Welcome to my website. I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources at Purdue University, where I have been studying since 2020. As a first-generation college student, and to pursue a PhD, I am passionate about using science to protect our beautiful environment.

My doctoral research focuses on tree species identification using deep learning algorithms, analyzing both trunk and UAV RGB images.

I aim to contribute to environmental conservation and the sustainable management of our natural resources. I'm wrapping up my PhD in December 2025 and am looking for a new position.

Research interests: forest ecology, remote sensing, deep learning, AI, computer vision, and multi-modal tools application for science.
