Yun Liu

I am a senior scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing, part of Agency for Science, Technology and Research in Singapore. Currently I am working on designing novel materials for optoelectronics, sustainability and quantum applications using first-principles and machine learning techniques.

Previously I was a postdoctoral research associate at the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge working with Professor Sir Richard Friend. I was also affiliated with the group of Professor Bartomeu Monserrat at the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy. I obtained my Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with Professor Jeffrey Grossman.
