Crystalline Conflict

Crystalline Conflict is the exciting player-versus-player (PvP) game mode introduced in Final Fantasy 14's Endwalker expansion. As an avid FF14 player myself, I'm absolutely loving this new 5v5 competitive team battle that provides such fast-paced, skill-based combat in bite-sized 5-minute matches. Although sometimes in overtime, it can go much longer!

In Crystalline Conflict, two teams of five players face off with the goal of pushing the crystal. Matches take place on compact battleground maps called arenas, each with unique layouts and mechanics to master. They are the Palaistra, the Volcanic Heart, Cloud Nine, and the Clockwork Castletown.

Each player in Crystalline Conflict can choose a job-based role like tank, healer, melee dps, ranged dps, or caster dps. You'll use PvP-specific abilities and spells tailored to create balanced, fair fights between players.

Winning matches in Crystalline Conflict earns you trophies and weekly rewards. You can gain exclusive PvP-only cosmetics, emotes, and currencies to spend on gear and items. I've enjoyed climbing the leaderboards each season and unlocking ranked rewards that show off my PvP skills against the best players on my data center.

As a huge Final Fantasy 14 fan, I think Crystalline Conflict has revitalized competitive gaming amazingly. The game mode provides quick, rewarding battles that appeal to both veterans like me and newcomers alike.
