About me

I'm Yung-Chieh Hsieh, a 4th-year Ph.D. student in the math department at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. I'm working under the guidance of Dr. Matthew P. Young.

I obtained my B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU) and my M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). Although initially trained to be an engineer, I transferred to mathematics and attended the Ph.D. program in Mathematics of Rutgers University - New Brunswick in 2024.
