Tour Reservation
√ Contact agents directly for more details for each tour and to discuss your trip. Individual tour operators will be able to provide you the most up-to-date information on your travel destination. Regulations are always changing, especially when it comes to areas like the Tibet Autonomous Region. We suggest you confirm tours at least 25 days in advance for trips to the Tibet Autonomous Region.
Tour Booking Procedure
√ After finalizing your itinerary with a local tour operator, you are requested to send the following documents in order to confirm you trip:
Photocopy / Scanned valid Passport (Date of birth and Name should be clear)
Photocopy / Scanned valid Chinese visa (Date of birth and Name should be clear)
Emergency phone number in your resident country. (In the rare event of an emergency, this phone number will allow us to contact your relatives or friends. We will not share your personal information with third parties.)
30% Deposit (You are required to pay 30% of the total trip at the time of confirmation. Flight/train fares are considered separately. The remaining 70% is to be paid upon arrival the first day of your tour. We are able to accept bank transfer or money gram. You can also pay us your total trip fee in a single installment for any reason.
Cancellation Policy
√ If you must cancel your trip for reasons personal, of scheduling, or otherwise, please notify us as soon as possible. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Deposit will be not returned.
Prior to 25 days, cancellation fee charges: USD 250/ P.P. (Tibet Autonomous Region)
A week prior to departure, cancellation fee charges: USD 50/ P.P. (Other destinations)
Any time prior to arrival day, cancellation fee charges: 80% reimbursement of trip fees / P.P
√ If the trip must end early or be canceled due to health problems, altitude sickness, natural disasters, or any other similar reason, neither the deposit nor any other portion of the trip fees will be returned
√ However, if the trip must end early or be canceled due to political unrest or unforeseen governmental restrictions that cannot be compensated for by alternate arrangements, all trip fees minus both the deposit and fees for the days already traveled will be returned.
√ In cases where political sensitivities or government regulations prevent travel to certain regions (many such regulations are not generally publicized prior to implementation), we will try offer possibilities for an alternative itinerary and travel route to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
Always ask your local tour operator about any changes you need to make.
For Tibetan Autonomous Region tours, after the Tibet travel permit is issued you can request us to alter trip destinations due to altitude sickness and health problems. However, please not that it is very difficult to add destinations not stated on the original itinerary, as this the only one accepted by Tibet Tourism Bureau.
