About me
About me
I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Before this, I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Illinois in 2025 under the mentorship of Dr. Cynthia Fisher.
My research explores how young children acquire language, especially how they learn the syntactic regularities and draw on recent linguistic experiences and context to learn new words.
Outside of research and teaching, I find balance through yoga and by diving into books and podcasts. I’m also passionate about instant photography and rarely travel without my Polaroid camera in hand. I’m energized by new experiences and enjoy learning from diverse cultures and perspectives.
