Yuki Matsuura

Welcome to my website! My academic interests center around empirical studies of political economy in developing countries. More specifically, my current projects deal with 1) how land endowment affect the trajectory of regional economic development, 2) whether FDI shapes local political dynamics. I apply quantitative methods, causal inference methodology and geospatial analysis to observed data.
