Servus de Tempus

Servus de Tempus ( Slaves of Time ) is a progressive metal project, blending cinematic soundscapes, avant-garde structures, and industrial textures. Emotionally intense and genre-defying, this project explores the chaos of time, mortality, regret, paradox, and personal awakening.

Each release is a confessional chapter in a larger philosophical narrative — not just music, but a fully immersive experience:
a fusion of progressive metal, ambient elements, and spiritual tension.

Servus de Tempus (時間の奴隷たち）は、シネマティックなサウンドスケープ、アヴァンギャルドな構成、そしてインダストリアルな質感を融合させたプログレッシブ・メタル・プロジェクトです。

感情的に激しく、ジャンルにとらわれないこの作品は、「時間の混沌」「死」「後悔」「逆説」「自己の目覚め」といったテーマを深く掘り下げています。

各リリースは、より大きな哲学的物語の中の“懺悔の章”であり、単なる音楽ではなく、没入型の体験です。

プログレッシブ・メタル、アンビエント要素、そして精神的な緊張感が融合した作品群です。 

Servus de Tempus ( Escravos do Tempo ) é um projeto de metal progressivo que mistura paisagens sonoras cinematográficas, estruturas vanguardistas e texturas industriais.

 Emocionalmente intenso e sem limites de gênero, o projeto explora o caos do tempo, a mortalidade, o arrependimento, o paradoxo e o despertar interior.

Cada lançamento é um capítulo confessional dentro de uma narrativa filosófica maior — não apenas música, mas uma experiência totalmente imersiva:

 uma fusão de metal progressivo, elementos ambientes e tensão espiritual. 

At the heart of Servus de Tempus lies a simple yet haunting symbol: an hourglass — but one not possible to see inside.

We don’t know how much time we have left.

The top of the hourglass bears an upright ankh, the ancient Egyptian symbol for life. Below it lies a second inverted ankh, symbolizing death. Together, they mirror the fragile balance between existence and oblivion.

Servus de Tempus の中心には、シンプルでありながら不気味なシンボルが存在します――しかし、中を覗くことはできない。 

私たちには、あとどれくらいの時間が残されているのか、誰にも分かりません。

砂時計の上部には、生命の象徴である古代エジプトの「アンク（☥）」が立っています。
下部には、その逆さまのアンクがあり、それは死を意味します。
このふたつは、存在と虚無の間にある壊れやすいバランスを象徴しています。

No coração de Servus de Tempus existe um símbolo simples, mas perturbador: uma ampulheta — mas não é possível ver a areia.

Não sabemos quanto tempo ainda nos resta.

No topo da ampulheta está um ankh em pé, o antigo símbolo egípcio da vida.
Abaixo, um segundo ankh invertido representa a morte.
Juntos, eles refletem o equilíbrio frágil entre a existência e o falecimento.

 This instrumental track launched the Servus de Tempus project. It introduces Yuji R. Mk.’s approach to composition and sets the tone for the journey ahead.  

 このインストルメンタル曲は、Servus de Tempus プロジェクトの始まりを告げる作品です。Yuji R. Mk. の作曲スタイルを提示し、本プロジェクトの方向性を示しています。  

 Essa faixa instrumental marcou o início do projeto Servus de Tempus. Ela apresenta a forma de compor de Yuji R. Mk. e define o tom da jornada que está por vir. 

This is the project's first release featuring vocals. The lyrics describe a fictional messiah with vicious intentions, blurring the line between salvation and control.  

この曲は、プロジェクトで初めてボーカルを取り入れた作品です。歌詞は、救済と支配の境界を曖昧にするような悪意を持つ架空のメサイアを描いています。  

Essa é a primeira música do projeto com vocais. A letra descreve um messias fictício com intenções perversas, desafiando a linha entre salvação e domínio. 

 This track captures the final thoughts of individuals on their deathbeds. Told in the first person, the lyrics reveal raw regrets and unspoken truths at the end of life.  

この曲は、死の間際にいる人々の最後の思いを描いています。一人称で語られる歌詞には、人生の終わりに浮かび上がる後悔と胸の内が込められています。 

Essa faixa retrata os pensamentos finais de pessoas em seu leito de morte. Narrada em primeira pessoa, a letra revela arrependimentos profundos e verdades nunca ditas no fim da vida. 

 This track reflects Yuji's personal battle with depression, which ultimately led him to embrace music as a life path. The song channels emotional weight into rhythmic force.

この曲は、Yuji R. Mk. がうつ病と向き合う中で生まれた作品です。その苦しみが、音楽を人生の道として選ぶきっかけとなりました。感情の重みがリズムに込められています。  

Essa música reflete a luta de Yuji contra a depressão, que o levou a seguir a carreira musical. A faixa transforma dor emocional em força rítmica. 

 Embracing the raw progressive vision of this project, Yuji embeds a hidden message within a Japanese Buddhist chant fused with intense metal music. The result is a cryptic, spiritual sonic journey.

このプロジェクトの荒々しくプログレッシブな精神を体現するため、Yuji R. Mk.は日本の仏教の念仏に隠されたメッセージを込め、メタルと融合させました。神秘的でスピリチュアルな音世界を体感できます。 

 Com a proposta de explorar a essência progressiva do projeto, Yuji insere uma mensagem oculta em um canto budista japonês fundido com metal pesado. Uma jornada sonora espiritual e enigmática. 

"Servus de Tempus has released their industrial metal cover of Sia's chart-topping hit 'Chandelier.' This is the first officially licensed cover of the song, featuring a visceral, heavy, and dark new arrangement."
