Welcome to the Atmospheric CHemistry and Emissions Modeling (ACHEM) Group at UNIST Department of Civil, Urban, Earth, and Environmental Engineering!
We study a range of environmental issues linked to atmospheric chemistry and their interaction with the Earth system and human activities using chemical transport models and various observation platforms including ground networks, aircrafts, and satellites. Our research aims to understand the sources and chemical fate of atmospheric pollutants and provide actionable solutions to improve air quality and mitigate climate change.
Openings are available for postdocs, Ph.D. students, and undergraduate internships. Feel free to reach out to Dr. Oak if interested, and be the first to join our team!
