Yujie Zhao

I am currently a Biostatistician in the Methodology Research group at Merck & Co., Inc. My research is related to design and analysis in clinical trials, particularly group sequential designs under non-proportional hazards.

Previously, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021, advised by Dr. Yajun Mei and Dr. Xiaoming Huo.  My Ph.D. research interest is hot-spots detection in spatio-temporal data, statistical computation, and identification in partial differential equations.

Before joining Georgia Tech, I got my B.S. degree in East China Normal University majoring in Statistics in 2017.
