Dr. Yu-Hsin Hung is currently an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Statistics at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in the Department of Information Management at National Taiwan University. His research interests span manufacturing data science, intelligent manufacturing systems, statistical machine learning and optimization theory, and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI). These are applied to areas such as process diagnostics and root cause analysis, parameter optimization and yield prediction, statistical process control, equipment fault prediction and health management systems, and production scheduling optimization. In addition to his academic research, Dr. Hung serves as Co-Consultant (2024–Present) at ProfetAI (AI Startup), where he guides AutoML product development on machine learning pipelines and analytics based on manufacturing data science and domain knowledge (with Prof. Chia-Yen Lee). 

洪佑鑫博士畢業於國立台灣大學資訊管理學系。他的研究領域包含製造數據科學、智慧型製造系統、統計機器學習與最佳化理論，以及可解釋人工智慧，應用於製程診斷與失效原因分析、參數最佳化與良率預測、統計製程管制、設備故障預測與健康管理系統、生產排程最佳化等。現任 ProfetAI（AI 新創公司）共同顧問（2024–至今），指導基於製造數據科學與領域知識的 AutoML 產品開發，涵蓋機器學習流程與分析（與李家岩教授合作）。曾任銘傳大學企業管理學系講師（2022–2024），教授「生產與作業管理」、「統計學」等課程。洪博士曾榮獲中國工業工程學會碩士論文獎生產系統組優勝（2019）、斐陶斐榮譽學會成員（2019）、國泰大數據保險創意挑戰賽佳作（2017）、台積電半導體大數據分析競賽佳作（2016）、CASA 大數據行銷爭霸賽銀質獎（2016）。他與指導教授李家岩共同整理多年的研究與實務經驗，著作《製造數據科學》一書，期望提升臺灣產業的關鍵技術能力並支持製造業在數據科學時代的轉型。
