I'm a Lecture in the Centre for Linguistics and Applied Linguistics at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, specializing in sociolinguistics and phonetics. 

My research combines quantitative and qualitative approaches to examine how language variation and change shapes and is shaped by the social world.
