Privacy Policy for Yueyu Tarot

Effective Date: August 3, 2026 Last Updated: August 3, 2026

Yueyu Tarot (the "App") respects your privacy and data security. This Policy explains how the App handles data when providing tarot draws, AI readings, rewarded advertising, data-deletion requests, and related features.

1. Developer and contact

• App: Yueyu Tarot

• Developer / data controller: Developer of Yueyu Tarot

• Email: yueyutarot.support@gmail.com

• Privacy Policy: https://sites.google.com/view/yueyu-tarot-privacy

2. Accounts and anonymous technical identity

The App does not provide conventional registration, credentials, or a cross-device sign-in experience. The service automatically creates an anonymous technical identity to verify requests, manage eligibility, and prevent abuse. Users cannot manage this identity as a conventional account. It does not reveal a user's real name, but it may link cloud data belonging to the same anonymous session.

3. Data we may process

We may process: questions and tarot context submitted for AI readings; anonymous identifiers and necessary App, device, integrity, and security data; feature interactions, eligibility, usage, request state, idempotency, and short-term result-recovery data; diagnostic and security events; advertising, approximate region, device identifiers, interactions, and consent choices; and local settings, reading history, non-sensitive receipts, and cache.

Do not include passwords, government identifiers, financial credentials, precise addresses, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive data in an AI question or support request.

4. Purposes

We process data to provide App and AI functionality; verify legitimate App requests; manage usage and rewarded access; prevent duplicate requests, fraud, and abuse; provide short-term recovery and deletion-request status; apply advertising and privacy choices; maintain security and reliability; respond to support and disputes; and comply with applicable law and platform policies.

5. Service providers and disclosure

The App uses Google Play, Firebase / Google Cloud, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, and OpenAI for security, cloud processing, advertising, and AI readings. These providers may process necessary data under their terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers or disclosed where necessary to provide requested features, prevent abuse, comply with law, or protect rights and safety.

Content is transferred through the system share feature only after the user selects a destination. The destination app's privacy terms then apply.

6. Retention

Local data remains until deleted in the App, cleared through Android, or removed by uninstalling. Eligible AI result data generally supports recovery for about 24 hours; cloud expiry is asynchronous and does not automatically remove unrelated usage or eligibility data.

For a deletion request, a normal anonymous-subject link is retained for no more than 24 hours. An exception link may be retained for no more than 30 days. After closure, no anonymous-identity fingerprint is retained. Minimized closed evidence without user content or anonymous identity is retained for 180 days; detailed action evidence is retained for 30 days; minimized exception or provider-escalation evidence is retained for 180 days.

Security and administrative logs, backups, integrity data, advertising data, AI-provider data, and other provider-controlled data may be retained for limited periods required for security, fraud prevention, disputes, law, and provider operations. Removing App-controlled data does not mean that all provider telemetry or backups disappear at the same time. Automatic expiry is a cleanup safeguard, not the sole proof of completed deletion.

7. Requesting deletion

In App versions that support deletion requests, use My > Data and Privacy. The request is verified against the current anonymous session; users must not enter an anonymous identifier, verification token, or password. Normal requests are processed automatically in the background. Manual handling is limited to retry exhaustion, partial failure, retention exceptions, provider boundaries, or results that cannot be safely verified.

If the App is unavailable, email yueyutarot.support@gmail.com without reinstalling it. Use the subject "Yueyu Tarot data deletion request" and state that you want data related to your use of Yueyu Tarot deleted. Do not send an anonymous identifier, verification token, password, API key, financial data, or other unnecessary sensitive information. If a particular anonymous identity cannot be safely matched, we may be unable to delete data linked to that identity, but we will explain what can be handled.

An accepted request cannot be guaranteed to be withdrawable. Our operational targets are to acknowledge an actionable request within 7 days and to complete processing or make a substantive decision within 30 days. Supplementary information does not restart that target. These are operational targets, not absolute guarantees. We may explain reasonable delays caused by verification, retention duties, provider processing, or other legitimate circumstances.

Request acceptance does not mean immediate deletion. A completed result is shown only after the approved deletion scope and required checks finish. A result may identify processed categories, limited retention, provider-controlled boundaries, and any portion that could not be completed.

8. Scope and limitations

After safe verification, the scope may include the App-controlled anonymous identity and its owned AI operations, daily usage, and eligibility data. Shared aggregate controls, security and administrative records, legally required retention, and third-party data that cannot be safely linked to a specific anonymous identity are not directly removed by an individual request.

Cloud deletion does not remotely clear local reading history, preferences, or cache. Use the App's existing individual-delete controls, Android clear storage, or uninstall to manage local data.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards such as encrypted transport, request validation, least-privilege access, service-disabling controls, database protection, restricted logs, and expiry cleanup. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

10. Rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, withdraw applicable advertising or privacy consent, or complain to a supervisory authority. Where the App displays an Advertising Privacy Settings entry, it may be used to adjust available choices.

11. International processing and minors

Providers may process data outside Taiwan or your country. Data-protection laws vary by jurisdiction. The App is not designed for children and targets users aged 16 or older. Minors should use it with parental or guardian involvement where required by law.

12. Changes

We may update this Policy for changes to features, providers, law, or platform rules. The published page and date will be updated, with additional notice for material changes where reasonably practicable.

13. Contact

For questions about this Policy, data handling, privacy choices, or deletion, contact the Developer of Yueyu Tarot at yueyutarot.support@gmail.com.
