“Sensory Silhouettes” is an exhibition of South Asian heritage textiles and their digital archive curated by the RISD Museum’s Costume and Textiles Department. This project explores the tactile essence of garments, focusing on how South Asian textiles can be experienced beyond visual observation, reconnecting visitors with the textures, colors, and cultural stories embedded in these historical pieces. As a team member, I worked on creating digital archive for the exhibited textiles with CG tools that aims to capture their tactile quality as well as to speculate their making process.
