Yue Song (宋越) is an Associate Professor with the Department of Control Science and Engineering/Shanghai Research Institute for Intelligent Autonomous Systems (SRIAS) at Tongji University. He is a recipient of the Overseas High-Level Talent Program of China and Overseas High-Level Talent Program of Shanghai.
He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in 2011 and 2014, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2017. From 2017 to 2020 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at HKU. From 2020 to 2023 he was a Research Assistant Professor at HKU, where he is holding an honorary position.
He has participated in a number of research projects as PI or main participant, supported by multiple funding agencies, including National Natural Science Foundation of China, Research Grants Council of Hong Kong as well as various industry partners. He has published more than 50 SCI-indexed papers and one monograph.
