Dr. Yue Cynthia Wu is an Assistant Research Scientist in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of Michigan. She earned her B.Eng. in Ocean Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Ocean Science from the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Wu's research focuses on the dynamics and energetics of waves and turbulence in the ocean and atmosphere, employing theoretical and numerical approaches to advance the understanding of their interactions and broader implications in the Earth system.
