Hi, I am Yubin Lee (이유빈 in Korean).
I am currently a Master’s student at Texas State University, with research interests in climate change and health, urban mobility, spatial accessibility, GeoAI, and urban sustainability. I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Geography from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea.
My academic background and research interests center on data-driven approaches to addressing environmental justice and promoting sustainable urban development. My key research question is why, and to what extent, socioeconomic groups are differently affected by environmental risks. I am using satellite imagery and human mobility data to address this question. I’m keen on exploring new methodologies and remain open to learning and applying emerging analytical techniques.
Also, I enjoy hiking⛰️, yoga🧘🏻♀️, taking photos📸, playing the piano🎹, and writing a travel blog📝 in my free time. You can see the photos I've taken here!
