Research Area: Watershed modeling, Soil erosion, Climate change, Urban Stormwater Modeling
I am an experienced Environmental and Agricultural Scientist with over 15 years of academic and professional expertise in environmental modeling, soil erosion, hydrology, climate change impact analysis, and stormwater modeling. I am good at analyzing, interpreting, and conveying complex Environmental or Agricultural Sciences concepts (e.g., hydrologic flow path modeling, sediment yield and nutrient transport and prediction, soil erosion hotspot identification) through advanced numerical models, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques. With proven skills in clear and precise scientific communication for diverse audiences, I have extensive experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across government, research, and industry. Adept in statistical and geospatial analysis with a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Core Competencies:
Hydrological and hydraulic Modeling (SWAT, SWMM, HPC)
Hydroinformatics and Machine Learning (Support Vector Regression, Wavelet Analysis, Python, R, HPC)
Climate Change Impact on Agriculture (WEPP, CMIP, GCM, GLIGEN)
Urban Stormwater Management (SWMM, PCSWMM)
GIS and Remote Sensing (ArcGIS, DEM Analysis, ERDAS, ENVI, Google Earth Engine)
Research Funding, Grant Writing, and Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Innovative Teaching and Curriculum Development
Communication & Collaboration:
Strong experience in multi-agency collaborations (EPA, USDA, DHS, USCG)
Experienced proposal writer for funding support
Development of Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPP)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experienced in working in an international environment and with different federal agencies
