The project is built on Python Flask, and uses HTML and CSS for the frontend.
Transcript search requires users to have prior knowledge on which video their desired segment exists in. Once they know the video that their segment exists in, they must click "Show transcripts" and find the keywords.
YouTube Timestamp Search takes care of this by allowing users to look for specific topics in videos all over YouTube, or if a user is searching for a particular video that their segment exists in but doesn't remember which video it exists in.
Furthermore, the YouTube transcript search only searches for exact keywords and does not have functionality for similar searches.
Even if the user remembers which video their segment exists in, YouTube Timestamp Search cuts several steps and greatly increases the efficiency of search.
