Yu Shi

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada. My research interests are in Macro-Development, Macro-Labor, and International Macroeconomics.

I completed my Ph.D. in Economics at McGill University, where I was advised by Prof. Markus Poschke and Prof. Rui Castro. Before that, I received my M.A. in Economics from Duke University.
