YouTube Ad Skipper is a Chrome extension that automatically detects the YouTube Skip Ad button and clicks it when it becomes available.

YouTube Ad Skipper does not collect, sell, or transmit personal information.

The extension does not collect:

• Browsing history

• Personal communications

• Website content for collection or transmission

Information Stored Locally

The extension uses Chrome's local storage to save:

• Whether the extension is enabled or disabled

• The number of advertisements skipped

This information remains stored locally in the user's Chrome browser and is not transmitted to us.

YouTube Access

The extension operates on YouTube pages to detect the Skip Ad button and perform the requested click. It does not intentionally collect or transmit the content of the user's YouTube activity.

Chrome Debugger Permission

The extension uses Chrome's debugger functionality only to send a mouse click to the detected YouTube Skip Ad button. This is necessary because a standard webpage click is not sufficiently reliable with YouTube's video player.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
