Youtify is a music player application for Android and iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App may collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
By installing or using Youtify, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and stop using it.
Youtify works mainly as a local music player. The following data is stored on your device:
Your music library, playlists, and playback history
App settings and preferences
Backup files you create or import
Last.fm credentials and session data, only if you choose to connect your Last.fm account
We do not operate user accounts inside Youtify, and we do not upload your personal music library to our own servers.
With your permission, Youtify may access audio files, images, text, or backup files on your device when you import them, open them, or share them with the App. This access is used only to provide app features such as playback, import, export, and backup.
The App may collect basic technical information needed for functionality and advertising, including:
Device model and operating system version
App version and language settings
General network or connectivity status
Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID on Android, and similar identifiers on iOS where permitted)
Youtify shows ads through third-party advertising partners. Those partners may collect information such as your advertising ID, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, and ad interaction data (for example impressions and clicks).
If you enable Last.fm features, you sign in through Last.fm’s own service. Youtify may store your API key and session key locally on your device and send listening activity to Last.fm according to your settings. Last.fm handles that data under its own privacy policy.
We use information to:
Play music and manage your library
Save your preferences, playlists, and backups on your device
Show banner, interstitial, rewarded, and native advertisements
Support optional Last.fm scrobbling and recommendations
Maintain app performance, security, and stability
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Youtify may request the following permissions:
Internet — to load ads, online metadata, and optional online features.
Storage / media access — to read audio files and backup files on your device.
Notifications — to show playback and app notifications.
Advertising ID — to deliver and measure advertisements.
Foreground service and wake lock — to continue music playback in the background.
You can change or revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work if you disable required permissions.

We are not responsible for how these third parties collect or use your information.
You can limit personalized advertising on your device:
On Android: open Settings, then Google, then Ads, and choose “Opt out of Ads Personalization.”
On iOS: open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, and disable tracking for apps that request it.
You may also reset your advertising identifier in your device settings. Even if you opt out of personalized ads, non-personalized ads may still be shown.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share limited information with:
Advertising and mediation partners, to show and measure ads
Technology providers that help operate the App
Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall Youtify.
Advertising partners retain data according to their own retention policies.
If you use Last.fm, data shared with Last.fm is handled according to Last.fm’s policies.
Youtify is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or under the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the App. However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure.
If you use Youtify outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Youtify after an update means you accept the revised policy.
