A Youth Exchange on Backpack Journalism and Cultural Heritage

After the youth exchangeEach team will organize local #Heritage InstaMeet in their hometown and launch 1 European awareness campaign “#Youth4Heritage” on social media to encourage young people to take action, understand the potential of cultural heritage.
Agenda & objectivesSO1: 44 young people participate in a 9 days Youth Exchange in Azore to become aware how local and European cultural heritage looks, sounds, taste like, and discover the stories worth written, recorded, photographed using backpack journalism. SO2: 6 youth groups create each 1 digital map with the “local cultural gems” and organize each 2 local #Heritage InstaMeet in their hometowns for 180 young people to promote the local cultural heritage and Erasmus+ Programme with 6 exhibitionsSO3: 6 Youth NGOs and 44 youngsters launch 1 European awareness campaign “#Youth4Heritage” on social media to encourage young people to take action, understand the potential of cultural heritage to promote “hidden, less known or forgotten cultural gems” from all over Europe.

Day 7 - 12.10- Design of the Digital museum to integrate the following:- Digital Herbarium- Stories collection- Videos- Photojournalism- Podcasts- Daily reflection- Free Night
Day 8 - 13.10-Work in progress Digital Museum-Final presentation of the work-Daily reflection
Day 9 - 14.10-Design the local cultural heritage maps- DEOR planning- Stories of the participants experiences- Youthpass certificate- Final evaluation
Day 10 - 15.10The check-out of the participants is expected at 12:00
