Your well-being should be your top priority before anything else. Self-care can be anything as long as it boosts you. Your mental stability influences the decisions you make around yourself, you must remember that you must not overwork yourself. Self-Care can be the best way in uplifting yourself. Self-Care helps lessen the likely-hood of getting many health problems like anxiety to heart diseases.
Talking to people that you trust the most can be a good way in releasing internalized mental pain. The people you trust the most can be the best listeners. Reaching out to others helps connect, create reliability, and empathy to one another.
If you are unable or don't feel comfortable speaking to other people about your issues you can always cope through writing down how you feel, even if you dont have a journal, you can use the notes app on your phone to vent how you feel.
If your mental health has come to a point where you are inable to perform daily activities or be around others then you must seek professional help immediately. Mental Health professions are not here to judge you or treat you indifferently, they want whats best for you. Undiagnosed illnesses will worsen over time that might cause you to hurt yourself or others. Speaking to your doctors will help you be on the road to recovery.
Message For The Reader...
Hello to all who have come crossed this page. Our goal is to spread the message of how important mental health is. Within the POC community, mental illness is often overlooked and seen as "taboo". Many people of different cultures feel isolated when they struggle mentality because no one takes them seriously. With this program, we are able to uplift and unite the youth community into a more positive aspect. We know during the pandemic created huge impacts on mental health, stability, and affected young youth the most. This program will offer many opportunities in providing support to young kids and rejuvenate their mental health.
The program offers a wide range of options that suit every kid's interest such as sports(basketball), Art, Dance, Game design, & learning about animals. We understand that everyone copes differently and with these choices, our youth members can be morally supported by the team members and have hope that things will get better. Empathy is the most important when helping youth come with their mental struggles. My intentions is to normalize more people into seeking help so they can live a fulfilling life.
Our program and these pages are a judge-free zone, everyone has been through similar struggles and because of that, we know how to provide advice on how we overcame boundaries. Our goal is to spread awareness on the importance of mental health of the youth, especially POC. Mental health matters and should be everyone's first priority because it affects the way you make decisions in your life. Our other pages provide activities that are diverse in things that can interest you and boost your mental health. Our youth is our first priority and we make sure they are OK before anything else.
