I’m excited to let you know that a new format has been introduced to our 3:16 program!
After school, the kids will still gather in the hall as usual. From there, we will move to the Parish Centre Conference/Projector Room from 3:30 – 4:20 PM, and return to the hall for pick-up between 4:30 – 4:45 PM.
To deepen their experience, each week we’ll be exploring faith through games, prayer, talks, videos, and other activities that allow them to engage in their faith in fun ways.
Kids are provided with a packet of chips during the sessions.
Anyone in Year 3 - 6 are invited!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
During Term 4, Youth Matters will be hosting a faith program called Alpha Youth specifically for boys in Year 8 registered for Drop In. Sessions will be run by Matt Humphreys every Thursday during Drop In times in the Parish Centre. During these sessions, the boys will be invited to engage through a series of interactive videos designed to start an open and honest conversation around some of the big questions of faith. Topics at Alpha Youth include: Who is Jesus? Why did he die? How do I read the Bible? How do I pray? Who is the Holy Spirit?
We will provide hot chips for the boys each week. Please scan QR Code for registration form. Please indicate any dietary requirements or allergies if applicable. Please keep the Alpha Youth program in your prayers, I strongly believe your child will benefit greatly from this opportunity to engage in their faith with their friends.
If there are any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Youth Matters via email.
God bless!
