Clover Area Assistance Center August 2024 Presentation
Clover Area Assistance Center (CAAC) is thrilled to announce the construction of their new Outreach and Administration Center, set for completion in May 2025. As your organizations begins planning for 2025, CAAC invites you to consider using our new space to extend your programs into the Western part of York County.

The United Way's 2-1-1 Database
Those in need of services can call 2-1-1, 1 (866) 892-9211, visit sc211.org, or they can now text the word ‘help’ or ‘ayuda’ (Spanish for help) to 211-211 and select from a list of the most requested needs. Anyone who wants to use the service as resource directory can visit sc211.org themselves and search for available resources by zip code.
Together SC - Tips & Tricks YouTube Playlist
We wanted to share a valuable resource that is available for local nonprofits. Together SC is an organization comprised of individuals and organizations focused on serving and strengthening South Carolinas nonprofit community. One available resource we would like to highlight is their YouTube "Tips and Tricks" playlist, where you can access quick videos covering areas such as fundraising, smooth transitions, inclusive decision-making, and much more!
Opportunity Compass
The Opportunity Compass is a data visualization tool for measuring Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s collective progress towards improving economic mobility. The Opportunity Compass measures 33 key indicators across five areas of improvement. These drivers of opportunity were identified by combining the findings of the Opportunity Task Force Report with the voices of the local community.

Foundation for the Carolinas invites nonprofits in their regions to use their meeting space at no charge during weekday business hours. Their uptown Charlotte headquarters serves as an inspiration gather place and civic hub.

York County CHIP
A Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) is a long-term, systematic plan (usually 3 to 5 years) for addressing public health issues faced by a community. The community identifies and prioritizes their top concerns and come together to work to improve health conditions of residents. The CHIP is designed as a guide to engage partners and stakeholders from a variety of organizations as well as members of the community. The goal is to leverage resources and build relationships that will help the community reach goals outlined in the plans by carrying out action based strategies. It allows for a diverse group of people to build a collaborative effort with a common goal in creating a healthier York County.

State of the Babies Yearbook 2023
This state profile provides a snapshot of how infants, toddlers, and their families are faring in each of these three policy domains. Within each domain, view data for selected child, family, and policy indicators compared to national averages. The profile begins with a demographic description of the state’s babies and families to offer the broadest context for exploring what may be very different experiences of the state’s youngest children.

With a commitment to racial and economic justice, United For ALICE and United Ways across South Carolina share this work with foundations, government, corporations, and other nonprofits to inform policy and promote positive change for ALICE households. The grassroots ALICE movement, developed by United Way of Northern New Jersey, has spread to 28 states and the District of Columbia
