In 2018, we launched a website that sold music and resources for band directors. Our Trios for Any Instrumentation, a flexible collection of 50 short pieces that could quite literally be played with any combination of band instruments, made up probably 98% of our sales... we were thrilled to see people using these resources all over the world.

About a year ago we decided to begin sunsetting our website, as the administrative side of running things didn't quite justify the mental load it required to run, especially now that we have kids of our own growing up.

Since the website has closed, we had a lot of people reach out hoping to get the trios... so we decided to make them free to download on this page. And just to be clear: as of August 2026, any music downloaded for free from this website can be used in your classroom for practice AND performance, completely free of charge. All copyright laws still apply and all resources remain the intellectual property of YourScore. You cannot resell or redistribute the files outside of your classroom.

If using in a concert, pieces can be attributed to Brian Franco.

We can't thank everyone enough for the kind words over the years about this collection. To know these were used for projects, concerts, or that weird lesson group with a flute, trumpet and a bari saxophone, brings us a lot of joy.

Also, please note that all of these collections are available in SmartMusic!

Finally, and TRULY no pressure: if this collection has made your job a bit easier and you'd like to buy us a coffee, you can make a voluntary contribution to help us keep these resources free below.

Have a great school year!

❤️ Brian and Amanda (YourScore)
