When things start to feel a little overwhelming, it helps to have a few ways to ease the pressure and reset your focus. Here are a few ideas to reset, refocus, and keep yourself grounded.
Take a break: Step away from what you're doing for a few minutes. Stretch, drink some water, listen to music, or just pause and check in with yourself.
Clear your head: Grab a notebook, journal, or your notes app to write down anything on your mind. Writing can be an effective way to calm your mind as well as organize your thoughts and feelings.
Switch up your environment: Rearrange your space or try working somewhere new. Even small changes can help reset your mindset.
Be patient with yourself: It's okay if things don't feel perfect today, progress doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful.
