Welcome to Your Topic (“we,” “our,” “us”).
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Your Topic mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”). By using or accessing the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) and capable of entering into a binding agreement.
You also agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Overview of the Service

Your Topic is a community platform designed for writers and readers to:

• Create and share original writing (stories, poems, essays, reflections, etc.).

• Read and engage with content from other users.

• Connect, comment, react, and follow fellow creators.

We aim to maintain a safe, respectful, and creative environment for all users.

3. User Accounts

a. Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email or third-party sign-in (e.g., Google, Apple).
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information.

b. Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• All activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content

However, by posting on Your Topic, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App and its related features (e.g., feed, search results, or featured sections).

b. Content Guidelines

You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or threatening.

• Contains explicit or adult material.

• Promotes discrimination or violence.

• Infringes on intellectual property rights or privacy.

• Contains spam, advertising, or harmful software.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms or community standards.

5. Community Conduct

You agree to:

• Respect other users and engage constructively.

• Avoid harassment, bullying, or personal attacks.

• Use the App for its intended purpose — writing, reading, and creative expression.

• Do not use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or collect data.

Violation of these rules may lead to temporary suspension or permanent termination of your account.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, logos, and branding associated with Your Topic are owned by us.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without written permission.

Your original writing remains your property — but you are responsible for ensuring that your work does not infringe upon others’ copyrights or rights.

7. App Usage and Availability

We strive to keep the App running smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

You agree that we are not liable for any loss of data, interruptions, or modifications to the App.

8. Termination of Account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or our community standards.

• Your activity harms the App or other users.

• You request account deletion.

Upon termination, your access to all App features will end, but certain data may remain as required by law or for moderation integrity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
