GRATITUDE

Expression of gratitude

To begin with, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my past advisor Prof. Byung-Gook Park (R.I.P., PhD at Stanford) and Prof. Woo Young Choi. I am sincerely grateful for their guidance and numerous discussions about research, academia, and life, both during and after Seoul National University. Special appreciation is extended to Prof. Jong-Ho Lee for offering precise feedback for my previous research. I couldn't accomplish research publications without my team members.

In addition, my graduate career (MS) would not have happened at Seoul National University without the sincere support of my research collaborators (including graduate students and post-doc researchers in our laboratory). I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to these people who have consistently provided me with substantial emotional support during challenging times. Even during tough times, hanging out with these people occasionally, playing basketball from time to time, and going hiking once or twice a year helped me forget all the difficulties and focus on research. I really wish them all the best for their future and their family.

From Sep. 2024, I am going to start my new journey in the United States, so I would also like to express my deep gratitude in advance to my future advisor at Stanford University as well.

I deeply appreciated the times and efforts that you (who are reading this now) have generously shared for me. I sincerely wish you all the best for your future and your family.

Once again, thank you so much for your cooperation and consideration.

Best regards,

- Y. S. Song -
