Young Suh Song is a researcher who has worked in the field of semiconductor. His current research interests have included thermal management of semiconductor (also known as self-heating effect, SHE), 2D materials (MoS2, WSe2, hBN, etc.), CMOS, graphene, CNT, III-V devices, and high electron mobility transistor.

He has authored and co-authored over 40 research papers in journals and conferences including IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices (IEEE TED), IEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society (IEEE JEDS), IEEE International Reliability Physics Symposium (IEEE IRPS), and IEEE Electron Devices Technology & Manufacturing Conference (IEEE EDTM).

He served as technical committee in IEEE International Conference on Circuits, Systems and Simulations (IEEE ICCSS), in 2022. He has also served as guest speaker in the universities including VIT-AP University and VIT-Chennai University (India) in 2022, and NIT Delhi in 2023. He received the "Best Paper" Award from "the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE)" in 2021 and "IEEE ICCSS" in 2022.

SKILLS

Computer

Nano-fabrication

(In particular, I have been expert in the field of 'Cleaning', 'Oxidation', and 'CVD', since they are located in the same cleaning room. I had helped PhD Students' fabrication a lot in Seoul National University)

Acknowledgement

According to the data for Feb. 2024, I have achieved a Google Scholar citation of 300+ with an H-index of 10. I couldn't have achieved this without the outstanding support and the exceptional assistance of many professors, post-docs, graduate students, and lots of engineers who have continued to influence my perspective on scientific matters. Successful scientific endeavors truly hinge on collaboration with compassionate individuals. I feel honored and grateful for all my collaborators (professors, post-docs, graduate students from Seoul National University (SNU), Ajou University, Sogang University, and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)).

I deeply appreciated the times and efforts that you (who are reading this now) have generously shared for me. I wish you all the best for your future and your family.

Once again, thank you so much for your cooperation and consideration.

Best regards,

- Y. S. Song -
