Founded in 1971, Young’s Corner began as a small gathering of visionaries in Jalpaiguri with a shared dream: to uphold the rich cultural heritage of Jalpaiguri, foster a spirit of social responsibility, and protect nature. Over the past five decades, we have evolved into a premier Youth Organisation that serves as a bridge between our rich cultural past and a sustainable future.
Our Core Mission
At Young’s Corner, we believe that the youth are the ultimate stewards of change. Our work is built on three main pillars:
· Cultural Heritage: Preserving the traditions and history that define Jalpaiguri.
· Social Welfare: Standing by our community through social outreach and grassroots support.
· Environmental Conservation: Protecting the unique biodiversity of North Bengal through reforestation and climate advocacy.
Traditions That Bind Us: Kalipuja & Deepavali Utsav
A hallmark of our organization is the annual celebration of Kalipuja and Deepavali Utsav. We take immense pride in organizing these festivals with grand splendor, transforming them into a platform that upholds the rich cultural heritage of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. Through these celebrations, we aim to:
· Foster community spirit and togetherness.
· Showcase traditional Bengali craftsmanship and artistry.
· Pass down our vibrant customs to the younger generation.
