Laura Garcìa-Portela is an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. She graduated in summer 2021 with a prize-winning dissertation in climate justice for loss and damage at the University of Graz (Austria). She is a moral and political philosopher who works at the intersection between climate ethics, philosophy of climate law and philosophy of climate science.
Herman Paul is Professor of the History of the Humanities at Leiden University. Paul obtained his PhD (2006) from the University of Groningen. Paul is the author of “Key Issues in Historical Theory” (2015) and “Hayden White: The Historical Imagination” (2011). He is currently working on a book-length study of virtues and vices in nineteenth-century German historiography and editing a volume entitled “Writing the History of the Humanities.”
