Young Performer's Theater was founded in 2015 on twenty dollars, an assortment of old Halloween costumes, and a group of lifelong neighborhood friends with a passion for the performing arts. From our humble beginnings, we have emerged to a talented team of cast and crew members ranging in age from kindergarten to high school dedicated to sharing their love of theatre with those around them. For over five years, we seek to provide a safe, caring, and most importantly, enjoyable theatre environment for all children, no matter who they are.
Young Performer's Theater aims to promote performing arts opportunities within our local communities while giving back to others. Officially a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization, Young Performer's Theater donates one-hundred percent of our funds* to a diverse array of charitable organizations which provide opportunities for the performing arts within underserved communities. Our members additionally participate in numerous performing arts organizations and other volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Through giving back, we hope to empower individuals in exploring their performing arts capabilities in the same way we hope to enrich the experiences of our members.
