Mission Statement:
Mission Statement:
Provide a forum for high school students to learn about the Health Care System and its breadth of career opportunities.
Mentor students in the act of leadership giving them tools to use in their daily life challenges.
Provide a service project to satisfy high school requirements and make a positive impact on the community.
Provide a venue for a student–run competition where each school presents a topic in line with the year’s goal.
Eligibility to apply for the Scripps Health HS Exploration Program (HSEP) 5-week Summer Internship.

Learn about the Scripps “World of Healing” through a five-week internship that can help you prepare for an exciting and rewarding career in health care.
2027 Applications will be available January 5 - February 14, 2027
2027 Internship Program Dates: June 14, 2027 - July 16, 2027
Interview Dates: Interviews will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams the week of March 8 - 12, 2027.
Program Orientation: Saturday, June 12, 2027 (mandatory)

FINAL RESEARCH PROJECTS
Students must attend the virtual general meetings once each month. To be eligible for community service credit students must attend 4 general meetings and participate in the April meeting.
Eligibility to participate in the Scripps Health High School Exploration summer internship is based on attending general meetings and being actively involved in club activities.
