Mentor students in the act of leadership giving them tools to use in their daily life challenges.
Provide a service project to satisfy high school requirements and make a positive impact on the community.
Provide a venue for a student–run competition where each school presents a topic in line with the year’s goal.

Scripps Health High School Exploration Internship
Learn about the Scripps “World of Healing” through a five-week internship that can help you prepare for an exciting and rewarding career in health care.
Applications will be available January 6, 2026 - February 15, 2026
Internship Program Dates: June 15, 2026 - July 17, 2026
Interview Dates: Interviews will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams the week of March 9 - 13, 2026.
Program Orientation: Saturday, June 13, 2026 (mandatory)

FINAL RESEARCH PROJECTS
Students must attend the virtual general meetings once each month. To be eligible for community service credit students must attend 4 general meetings and participate in the April meeting.
Eligibility to participate in the Scripps Health High School Exploration summer internship is based on attending general meetings and being actively involved in club activities.
