Young Innovators Summer Academy’s purpose is to assist in strengthening Alief’s STEM program feeder pattern. Horn and Smith’s rising 4th and 5th graders will begin this journey this summer using the National Inventors Hall of Fame curriculum. This academy is intended to prep and prime these students for more rigorous RLA and Math instruction during the academic school year through our Advanced Curriculum. Students will be tracked throughout the school year and as they advance through the participating STEM Feeder pattern schools.

The NIHF curriculum fully supports STEM and innovation with modules that provide opportunities for creative thinking, problem-solving, problem finding , analytical thinking, etc..
