Siembra-HoLAGrav is a network of Latin American physicists working on holography and gravity.
The Siembra-HoLAGrav Young Frontiers Meeting is an ongoing series of conferences with a two-fold objective. Firstly it is a meeting that seeks to bring young Latinoamerican researchers to the frontier of the current understanding of Holography and related topics. Hence, generating a collaborative environment for young researchers, postdocs and PhDs to engage in discussions and to generate new collaborations. Secondly, it seeks to bridge the gap between the Senior members of the Siembra-HoLAGrav network and the younger generations by fomenting the interaction with the activities developed.
The meeting consists in a series of pedagogical lectures, given by young researchers of the network, that aim to introduce the students to different areas of modern Holography. Followed by a series of seminars in which advanced PhD students and postdocs present their latest research work, and finally a Gong Show for the new PhD students to showcase their research topic.
