About YCP

We are a growing student-run youth organization whose mission is to enrich the music education of students, especially in public schools, with chamber music and by connecting students to professional musicians.

Founded in August 2022 by Grace Liao, Young Chamber Players began as a student-run youth branch of Gold Coast Chamber Players mentored by Pamela Freund-Striplen. YCP has helped connect Gold Coast Chamber Players to Campolindo High School, Acalanes High School, and more. We hosted our debut concert on February 12th, 2022 with several YCP chamber groups. YCP collaborated with Young People's Symphony Orchestra for its second concert, and invited a professional musician to the Campolindo Instrumental Music Program's 2023 Summer Music Camp.
