Digital Futures is thrilled to introduce its inaugural Digital Futures Young Scientist Conference! The conference is designed exclusively for PhD students and postdocs working with Digital Futures affiliated faculty, offering a unique platform to showcase your research, ideas, and innovative solutions in the realm of digital transformation. The conference will provide an exciting opportunity to connect with fellow colleagues, build new interdisciplinary collaborations, and explore new perspectives on digitalization! Join us for vibrant discussions, poster presentations and demonstrations, inspiring keynote speeches from experts (stay tuned), and networking with like-minded peers over fika and delectable meals during the event. Be a trailblazer and join us!
Abstract guidelines:
Submit your abstract (max 350 words, excluding the title) about a research project in any stage of development. Be sure to include a brief motivation for participating. When submitting your abstract, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Provide 4–6 keywords summarizing your abstract.
Indicate your preferred presentation mode (oral or poster).
Mark the most closely related areas among the following options:
Digitalization and society
Digital technologies for human choices
Digitalization in education
Digitalization in the natural sciences
Digitalization, sustainability, and the environment
Foundations of digitalization
Digitalizing security
Digitalization in applied mathematics
Digitalization in healthcare and medicine
Digitalization in industry and engineering
All research areas are eligible, and all contributions are welcome. No area of science nor any discipline will be left out!
Note: There is no need to submit a full paper to this conference. Moreover, your submission will not be published so you can use your work for other publication channels. You can also submit already published results.

Registration and cost:
Registration for the conference is entirely free. In the event of space limitations, priority will be given to participants who have submitted abstracts. The abstract submission is now open, and registration will be available after acceptance notifications are sent out.
