「JADE若手会議委員会」は、開発経済学会（JADE）に所属する若手研究者によって構成された委員会です。JADE若手会議委員会は、JADE若手会議を開催することを主な活動とし、以下の目的をもって活動を行います。
研究発表を通じた若手研究者同士の育成と交流
開発経済学を学ぶ学部生や大学院生への勉強の機会の提供
関連する他分野の若手研究者との交流
The Young JADE Conference Committee is composed of early-career researchers from the Japanese Association for Development Economics (JADE). The committee’s primary activity is organizing the Young JADE Conference, with the following objectives:
Fostering development and interaction among young researchers through presentations
Providing learning opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students studying development economics
Facilitating exchanges with young researchers from related fields
JADE若手会議での報告者は、若手育成の趣旨に則り、若手研究者に限定します。「若手」の定義として、「博士号取得後、10年程度以内の研究者、もしくは学生」と定めます。
Presenters at the Young JADE Conference are limited to young researchers, in line with the conference’s goal of fostering early-career development. A “young researcher” is defined as someone who is either a student or has obtained their PhD within the last 10 years.
「私は10年以上経っているが、心はまだまだ若手だっ！」という方もいらっしゃると思いますが、本部会の目的が研究者として未熟な若手同士がお互い切磋琢磨し合う機会の提供であることをご理解いただけると幸いです。なお、年齢での制限はありません。
While we appreciate the enthusiasm of those who feel young at heart despite having more than 10 years of experience, we hope you understand that the purpose of this conference is to provide a platform for early-career researchers to learn and grow together. There are no age restrictions.
若手会議への参加については、制限は設けません。しかし、若手が第一段階の研究成果を報告し、研究の質の向上を目指すのが本会議の開催目的であることを理解した上で参加いただきますようお願い申し上げます。
Participation in the Young JADE Conference is open to all. However, please note that the primary aim of the conference is for young researchers to present their initial research findings and improve the quality of their work.
年に一回程度、勉強と交流を兼ねて、JADE若手会議を開催します。JADE若手会議では、学会報告する前段階の、Preliminaryな研究成果の報告や、今後の研究計画についての報告者を募集し、本会議での報告を通して、報告者の研究の質の向上を目指します。なお、発表を行うにあたり、JADEに加入する必要は必ずしもありません。
The Young JADE Conference is held approximately once a year, combining learning and networking opportunities. We invite presenters to share preliminary research findings or future research plans before presenting at larger conferences. The goal is to enhance the quality of the presenters’ research through feedback and discussion. Membership in JADE is not required to present at the conference.
JADE若手会議の発表者の資格は以下の通りです（参加者の資格ではありません。誰でもご参加いただけます）。
博士号取得後、10年程度以内の方
博士課程の学生の方、博士課程進学を希望する修士課程の学生の方、将来博士課程への進学を検討している学部生の方
その他、若手会議委員会が若手と認定した方
The following are the qualifications for presenters (note: these do not apply to participants, who are welcome to attend regardless of qualifications):
Researchers who obtained their PhD within the last 10 years
Doctoral students, master’s students planning to pursue a doctoral degree, or undergraduate students considering doctoral studies in the future
Individuals recognized as young researchers by the Young JADE Conference Committee

The Young JADE Conference invites two types of research presentations: Oral Presentations and Poster Presentations. Please click here for details.
（１）口頭報告 / Oral Presentations
「口頭報告」は、JADE大会やMonthly Seminarなどの研究会で報告する前段階のPreliminaryな研究成果を報告するセッションです。報告と参加者からのフィードバックを通じ、研究レベルの向上を目指します。2025年の口頭報告では、報告時間25分、質疑応答15分が与えられていました。今年の最終的なスケジュールおよび発表形式については、後日決定いたします。
This session is for presenting preliminary research findings before they are reported at larger conferences like the JADE Annual Meeting or Monthly Seminars. The goal is to improve the quality of research through feedback from participants. For reference, oral presentations in 2025 consisted of 25 minutes for the presentation and 15 minutes for questions and discussion. The final schedule and presentation format for this year will be determined at a later date.
（２）ポスター発表 / Poster Presentations
「ポスター発表」 は、研究計画や実験・調査の設計段階にある研究、あるいは執筆中・改訂中の論文など、研究の初期段階にあるプロジェクトについて報告を行うセッションです。本セッションでは、完成した論文や分析結果は必須ではなく、卒業論文・修士論文・博士論文の執筆途中の章や研究構想の段階の内容でも報告できます。そのため、研究を始めたばかりの学部生や大学院生にとっても参加しやすい発表形式となっています。本セッションの目的は、研究計画について参加者と議論し、多様な視点からフィードバックを得ることで研究計画を改善することにあります。また、その後の研究の発展や、科研費などの研究資金への応募に向けた研究計画のブラッシュアップにもつなげることを目指しています。なお、すでに推計結果や分析結果が得られている研究については、本セッションではなく「口頭報告」への応募をご検討ください。
This session is intended for projects at an early stage of development, including research plans, experimental designs, survey proposals, and papers that are currently being drafted or revised. A completed paper or empirical results are not required. Participants are welcome to present work-in-progress, such as draft chapters of undergraduate, master's, or doctoral theses, as well as preliminary research ideas. The purpose of the session is to improve research plans through discussion and feedback from participants with diverse perspectives. The session also aims to help presenters further develop their projects and strengthen future applications for research funding and grants. If your project already contains estimation or empirical results, we encourage you to apply for the Oral Presentation Session instead.
なお、どちらの発表とも、発表内容は以下の条件１を満たし、条件２もしくは条件３のどちらか一つを満たす必要があります。
計量分析を含む実証研究であること
研究対象が開発途上国、もしくは新興国であること
研究対象が先進国の場合、開発経済学への貢献や途上国への政策的含意が大きいこと
Both types of presentations must meet the following criteria:
The research must be empirical and include econometric analysis.
The research must focus on developing or emerging countries.
If the research focuses on developed countries, it must have significant contributions to development economics or policy implications for developing countries.
