Celebration of Our 29th Promotion: A Milestone in English Language Training

On Sunday, September 22, the grand hall of Collège MAELE was filled with 250 attendees, including parents, school heads, and numerous English speakers from Kisangani. The ceremony celebrated our 29th Promotion and was honored by the presence of Professor Arthur Cimwanga, a distinguished figure in English language education.

This initiative, involving 32 schools across the city, aimed to equip 165 students with English language skills to enhance their academic and professional prospects in an increasingly competitive global environment. Given the size of the city of Kisangani, which spans 1,910 km², and our commitment to reaching as many determined students as possible, we established training centers in six different locations: Bawa School , Home Feyen School , AMANI Secondary School , African Languages and Cultures Research Center , Saliboko Secondary School , Specialty Secondary School , Excellence Secondary School.

Key achievements of the project included the graduation of 38 students, with impressive success rates of 78.26% at level A2 and 100% at level B2. In total, 38 students received their certificates—31 at level A2 and 7 at level B2—reflecting the effectiveness of our training approach.

This initiative has underscored the strong demand for English training in Kisangani and highlighted the necessity for increased accessibility and support to foster greater inclusivity. By empowering our youth with language skills, we are opening doors to future opportunities for the next generation of Congolese leaders.

IMPACTFUL CONFERENCE ON SUNDAY JUNE 23, 2024

For the past few years, farmers in the Walendu Pitsi sector, the ZS Linga, have been using early-maturing varieties of cassava. Although these varieties are highly valued for their short growing cycle, they are unfortunately extremely susceptible to cassava mosaic, a viral disease that significantly reduces yields.

The urgency of the situation lies in the fact that farmers are unaware that the symptoms of mosaic disease on cassava leaves are caused by this illness. They attribute these symptoms to soil quality, leading to the rapid spread of the disease as they unknowingly use already infected cuttings.

The conference on June 23, 2024 aims to inform the population and local authorities about the severity of this disease and the urgency of the situation. It also aims to train farmers on biological solutions to combat this disease

In addition to this conference, a Génie en Herbe competition is being organized to inspire a spirit of excellence among young students. This event will allow participants to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in general culture. The main schools competing for the cup are the Institut de Rethy, Institut Mbikya, Institut de Vena, and CS Monts Bleue. Each of these institutions is renowned for its commitment to quality education and the promotion of student talent. This competition promises to be a significant occasion for sharing, camaraderie, and healthy competition among the bright young minds of the Kpandroma

EDUCATIONAL PROJECT : 500 Pupils will be trained in English Language from July 4 to Ausust 31, 2024.

In DRC, only 4% of the population speaks English, limiting the competitiveness of young Congolese in the international market. Since 2017, YOUNECATE has been addressing this issue by providing English language training to all segments of the Congolese population. To date, YOUNECATE has organized 28 cohorts and trained 1,023 individuals.

On Thursday, July 4, 2024, we are launching a new project to train 500 students across three regions of the country: the Province of Tshopo, the Province of Ituri, and the capital city of Kinshasa.

With this project, YOUNECATE continues its mission to empower the Congolese population and bridge the language gap, thereby boosting their competitiveness on the global stage.

Younecate Org at BIFA Institute Event in Abidjan - March 9, 2024

On behalf of Younecate org, Jonathan B. MAGALA, President of the Board of Directors, participated in a prestigious event organized by BIFA Institute. The event included a conference themed "Human Capital in Africa: Keystone of Organizational Performance and Economic Competitiveness" and a ceremony awarding certificates to graduates who completed their professional trainings in various domains .

Distinguished figures from Côte d'Ivoire and beyond, including researchers, decision-makers, NGO leaders, and businessmen, convened to share their business strategies and leadership experiences. We discussed innovative mechanisms to enhance corporate performance and efficiency.

Special recognition goes to Fidèle Adjoumani, Director of BIFA Institute, and to all the esteemed speakers: Stan Zeze-Bayard, Gnalhey Luc Herve Koffi, Abdou Gueye, Amoi N'Gattia, Jean Anokoua, and Gérard Gilles Akou.
