We collect only what Plans & Memories needs to work, share it only with the people you choose and the services that run the app, and never sell it or use it for ads.
Plans & Memories ("the App", "we", "us") is an app for planning with your partner, friends and family and keeping the memories. It is the new version of the app previously called You & Me. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have.
Effective date: October 18, 2026. It replaces all earlier versions, including the You & Me privacy policy.
By using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We collect what you give us and a small amount of technical information needed to deliver notifications. We do not collect your precise location, contacts or browsing activity. If you allow it, the App uses your phone's approximate location while you use it, only to show nearby places first.
Account: your first and last name, email address, password (handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see it) or your Apple or Google sign-in, and an optional profile picture. Used to create your account and show your name to the people you plan with.
Your people: the partner, friends and family you connect with, and the requests you send or receive. Used to share plans and memories with them.
Plans: events (title, date and time, place, notes, cost, reminders, repeat), invitations and your answers, plans and votes, Find a Time availability, trips, bucket list items, special dates (such as birthdays), questions you ask and answers, and photos added to plans. These are the App's main features.
Memories: photos you add to events, ratings, reflections, comments and daily reflections. Used to keep and share your memories.
Cost splits: expenses, amounts, who paid and who owes whom. Used to split costs on trips and events.
Places: the place names and addresses you type. Used to suggest places and show the weather there.
Approximate location (optional): your phone's rough location, only while the App is open and only if you allow it. Used to list places near you first when you type a place. It is sent to Google Places with what you type, and is never stored on our servers or linked to your account.
Device: a notification token for each device you sign in on, a random ID for that install, and the device type (iPhone, iPad or Android). Used to send notifications to all your devices.
Settings: language, colours, notification and reminder choices. Used to remember your preferences.
Subscription: whether you have Premium and when it renews. Used to unlock Premium features on every device you sign in on. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; we never receive your card details.
Flights (Premium): flight numbers and dates you add to a trip, and the airline, airports, times and terminals found for them. Used to show your flights on the trip. A flight the organizer shares is seen by everyone on the trip; your own flights only by you. On the day of departure our server checks each flight so you can be told if it is delayed or cancelled.
Some information never leaves your device: scheduled reminders, "Time to Leave" settings, the home-screen widget and photo books you make (until you choose to share them).
We use your information only to provide and improve the App:
run your account and keep your plans, memories and settings in sync across your devices;
share events, plans, trips, photos, questions and cost splits with the people you choose;
send notifications you would expect, such as invitations, answers, comments, changes, reminders and plan results;
suggest places and show the weather forecast for an event's place;
unlock Premium features when you subscribe;
keep the App secure, fix problems and answer your messages.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles of you.
The App is made for sharing, but only with people you pick.
Connections: to connect with someone you enter their email address. If they have an account, they receive your request with your name. Once you are connected, each of you can see the other's name and profile picture.
What they see: the events, plans, trips, bucket list items, questions and cost splits you share with them, and the photos, ratings, reflections and comments added to those.
Secret events: the details of a secret event stay hidden from the people you invite until it ends.
Questions: when you ask a question, you choose whether everyone sees all the answers or only you do.
Leaving: you can delete something for yourself only, or, if you created it, for everyone. Whoever is still part of it keeps it until the last person removes it.
Files you share: a photo book or a Year in Review picture you choose to share goes wherever you send it, through your phone's share options.
We use a few trusted services to run the App. Each receives only what it needs for its job and handles it under its own privacy policy.
Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) receives your account, content, photos and notification tokens. It stores your data, signs you in and sends notifications.
Google Places receives the place text you type and, if you allow it, your approximate location. It provides place suggestions, nearby ones first, and finds a place for the weather.
Open-Meteo receives a town name or map coordinates and a date, without your name or account. It provides weather forecasts.
Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In are used only if you sign in with them.
Apple App Store and Google Play handle your purchase, for subscriptions and payments.
RevenueCat receives a random account ID (not your name or email), your purchases and when they renew, and your device type. It checks each purchase with Apple or Google and keeps track of whether your account has Premium.
AeroDataBox (via RapidAPI) receives a flight number and date, sent by our server without your name or account, when you add a flight and on its day of departure. It looks up a flight's airline, airports and times, and whether it is delayed or cancelled.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the App, in which case this policy continues to apply.
We do not sell or rent your information.
We do not show ads, and the App contains no advertising or analytics trackers.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not access your contacts, use your precise location or track where you go. Approximate location, if you allow it, is only used at that moment to suggest nearby places, and only while the App is open.
The App only sees the photos you pick; it never browses your photo library.
We keep your information while you have an account. You can delete your account at any time in the App: Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm it is you first.
When you delete your account:
Removed: your profile and settings, profile picture, sign-in, notification tokens, your private events and their photos, the ratings, reflections and comments you wrote, the photos you added to shared events, your connections and requests, and the plans, trips, questions and cost splits you started.
Kept for others, without your email: events, plans, trips and cost splits that other people still take part in. You are shown there as "Deleted account" or as having left, and amounts you were part of stay so totals still add up.
Notifications you already sent to other people stay in their lists.
You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing grn.gaming.inc@gmail.com from your account's email address. We act on requests within 30 days. Backups held by our providers are overwritten on their normal schedule.
Security: your data travels encrypted and is stored with Google Firebase. Access rules let each person reach only their own information and what has been shared with them. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your devices locked.
Children: the App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
International transfers: Google Firebase may store and process your information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws from yours. Where required, these transfers are covered by Google's safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
See and change: you can view and edit your profile, content and settings in the App at any time.
Notifications: turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
Location: the App asks once, after you sign in. You can allow or stop it at any time in your phone's settings; the App works fully without it.
Delete: delete individual items or your whole account in the App, as described above.
Copy or questions: depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, or to object to how it is used. Email us to make a request; we will not treat you differently for doing so. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising as those laws define it.
We may update this policy as the App changes. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, let you know before they take effect, for example by email.
