In a world where almost every email I get is spam, or someone trying sell me the latest miracle pill that will fix all my problems in relationships and money, this is what I feel. I wonder, "Why should I give you my email address?"
It seems like no day passes without me opening my email to learn about a man from Central America, who was $5,297 debt and who went on to build a fortune of $297.613 in just 30 days, simply by following this or that formula.
Although spam is a major part of the email I receive, a lot of it comes from legitimate marketers trying to make a few more dollars in affiliate commissions.
Let's face it. Let's be honest purchase email lists of nurses.
To be completely honest, I'm sick and tired of being sold the latest "magic pills" every day. Their list promised me a solution to my problem. Many marketers believe that this gives them permission to email me links for every ClickBank product.
This is a common mistake made by newbies, so it's important to be patient. You can unsubscribe or at the very least, stop being subscribed to their mailing list. But, I find myself being bombarded more often with offers from reputable marketers.
Although I now know that the money is there, I also know that it is much easier to sell products to existing customers than to strangers. As an Internet Marketer, I believe we must give more than we get.
Email marketing should be about giving! Email marketing should not be all about selling.
I get the impression that new subscribers are sold, sold, and then sold .....
They trusted you enough to create your list. Because they believed you had more to offer than you could sell, they signed up.
Personaly, I have signed up to many lists that I don't remember and then unsubscribed after receiving a few emails.
Like you, I don't like being sold to constantly. I subscribe to a mailing list to get information and not to be a target for every second offer.
Good email marketing should be about trust building between you and your recipients. It is important to give more information than you attempt to sell.
Don't get me wrong. It is a common saying in Internet Marketing that the money is in your list. I can't agree more. But, I'd like to add that the money is on the list of people who trust and respect you.
It is not possible to simply buy or create a list and then try to sell it the latest miracle pill. While you may be able to sell some products, the vast majority of your subscribers will unsubscribe or delete your email address.
In the real world, I learned that sales is all about relationships. It is important to establish a relationship with your customers. It is important to get to know your customer's needs and wants. It is important to look at solutions and not just sales.
This will make your bottom line more profitable than if you try to sell every client you contact.
What is a good balance? ?
I've heard that you should send three content emails for every "Sales” email. I'd like to say that for every "Sales", email you send, at least five content emails should be sent.
If you give more than what you take, you will see better results with your list.
Why should I give my email address to you? Because I believe you have more to offer than just ....
