The musical composition has a mix of infectious parts built on a rich reggae influence infused with rock sounds.[9][4][10] The chilled-out number instrumentally exudes an upbeat reggae vibe, being drenched deeply in Caribbean-tinged riffs and shimmery synths.[11][9] Josh Dun's slow, one-two drum beat binds together the track alongside a dark, brooding bassline.[12] His drumming provides the upbeat track with rhythmic dexterity, playing in a punk-inspired fashion.[13][9][14] Joseph recites contemplative rhymes over electropop-oriented reggae beats.[10][7] His vocal parts demonstrate a crisp delivery, one that abruptly goes from balladry to rapping to screaming.[15] After singing an opening verse, Joseph delivers his lyrics in a hard, staccato style of fast-paced rapping.[14][16] The song's chorus and his proclamations come layered between verses that bear highly rhymthic sensibilities.[12] The track's instrumental also takes dub-inspired deviations.[17] At its bridge, Joseph engages in call-and-response phrases.[18][10] During the breakdown, he sings in a manner shifting between his regular voice and a falsetto.[12] The song builds over time, culminating in a towering climax which has Joseph's vocals emphatically soaring.[12] The musical arrangement closes with a piano-driven conclusion.[19]

Rachel Campell from Alternative Press commented, "While this track instrumentally gives off an upbeat, reggae vibe, the video for it is anything but, showing a stark contrast of a forest performance in the dark and in daylight. The one unique thing about it is Joseph plays bass, a talent minimally showcased in their live performances as he normally runs, crashes and dances across the stage while Josh Dun holds it down on the drums."[11] Writing for the same publication, Jessica Bridgeman complimented Joseph's stylish fashion sense, saying, "Who needs boring Aviators when you can step out in some statement shades,  la Tyler?"[31] The music video for the single "Ride" has since surpassed a billion views on YouTube.[32] Although this is not the first time Twenty One Pilots have achieved such a feat, it still remains an uncommon figure for rock and metal bands to reach. In modern times, only the band Linkin Park alongside the duo's videos for "Heathens" and "Stressed Out" have experienced similar success and broken the barrier.[32]

I love watching the videos and hearing the breakdowns of aviation incidents. It's a fascinating world that is completely new to me. Does anyone have any other suggestions for youtube channels that have informative breakdowns? The only other one I found so far was The Flight Channel but there's no audio on it and I need audio because I listen to it while I crochet.

The rapped verse is just drums and bass until an organ sound is added halfway through. The bridge uses drums and a little bit of piano/organ, then leads into the reggae with bass, drums, piano, and synthesized steel drums which give it that reggae feel.

The show's pilot was in production by Blue's Clues creator Angela Santomero and Cuppa Coffee Studios in Toronto, Canada between early-mid 1999. The pilot was greenlit by Nick Jr but later was canceled in favor of another Nick Jr show "Oswald". The show would return to production between 2004 and 2005 to be pitched to PBS Kids, and had its first television airing in 2007, while the pilot was unreleased created with a working title, Super Why?

In May 2021, it was noticed that a listing for a tape containing the Super Why series pilot could be found on the website for the McMaster University's library. The user Pdog64 decided to ask the library to digitize the tape and give him a digital copy, the library agreed and the digitization process started on May 31, 2021 and was completed on July 16, 2021. Upon the tape being digitized, however, it was realized that the tape was actually an audio cassette tape and only included the audio from the pilot, along with the instrumental to it. In August 2021, Pdog64 shared the audio.

In January 2nd 2023, a slideshow known as 'Next Generation Kids - PBS Kids' was discovered on SlidePlayer. One of the slides contained a render image for the pilot showing the main character's superhero design and a placeholder image for the series' logo. Interestingly, there was a different version of the image that was placed behind the render image if one tries to edit the slideshow which instead displays "Super Readers to the Rescue". A few months after that, the pilot was found.

"The video reel was maybe about a minute long. The theme song was a chill reggae track, and a Jamaican singer said: "Wonder why, Just like Super Why!" It was very chill. The proto-Super Why character then said: "Hello! I'm hiding. Can you find me?"

*here is an affiliate link with some more info on this, probably before the pilot was found. The Video from JorZoo was uploaded on July 12, 2023, with this video: =PjpjruZScJ8 being posted January 8 2023. Not 100% sure if JorZoo's upload is the first upload. If you wanna fact check that, go ahead, I'd be honored. But as of now, unless further corrected, JorZoo's upload is the first.*

The yellow skinned girl is called Whilla, or maybe Willa, but she goes by a name sounding like that. The "Proto SuperWhy" character's name is Willy, as said by the Jamaican singer as soon as the camera zooms on Willy in the beginning, asking you to play. He says "Willy lives inside the library, but he's no ordinary guy... But he's not bothered by history *i think he said history* He knows its fun to wonder why! Its fun to wonder-" and then the scene goes to Willy making his "Wheel Willie Tower" or maybe "Wee Whillie Tower" or something like that, as audio is a bit hard to understand at times. Anyway, going on with the story, he gets sad after Whilla blows over his tower, and goes to a book for help, similar to the final Super Why! show. After choosing the 3 little pigs, Willy goes into the story. After seeing the wolf blow down the house of straw, Willy asks why, and transforms into super why. His Stuffed animal is "Ruu Ruu" or maybe "Roo Roo". They transform, with Willy being in a super suit, then saying "I'm SUPER WHY, I'm not afraid to QUESTION WHY!" and continues the rest of the story.

Nickelodeon is angling for its own cup of the action, commissioning Super Why, another project combining stop motion and cel animation, created by the Blues Clues development team at Nickelodeon. The group includes Brown Johnson, senior VP of Nick Jr. and Angela Santomero, producer, head writer and co-creator of Blues Clues. A preschool pilot, Super Why centers around a character who jumps into books, then inhabits the worlds inside them.

"Who do you call when you need to know why? Super Why, of course! This award winning pre-school pilot encourages critical thinking and reinforces reading skills in young viewers. Stop-motion and cutout animation bring this curious little tyke, his kangaroo friend and all of his favorite storybooks to life."

"Who do you call when you need to know why? Super Why of course! Cuppa recently produced this pilot episode for Nickelodeon. The show encourages kids to read, and reinforces reading skills. We used stop motion animation as well as cut-out to bring this curious little tyke to life."

"A pilot for Nick Jr, Super Why was centered around a superhero whose ability is to question why - AND find out! Super Why takes place in the book of the three little pigs and the animations in the book come to life. The action gets kids to look into books to find out, well...why!?!"

Super Why! is a preschool computer-animated educational TV show about a gradeschool-year-old kid named Whyatt and his three friends (based on all fairytales) with the power to jump into books and interact with the world inside, to help solve their problems in the real world. The show's pilot was in production by Blue's Clues creator Angela Santomero and Cuppa Coffee Studios in Toronto, Canada between early-mid 1999. The pilot was greenlit by Nick Jr., but later was canceled in favor of another Nick Jr show Oswald. A few years later, the show would return to production between 2004 and 2005 to be pitched to PBS Kids (with Decode [now "WildBrain"]), and had its first television airing in 2007, while the pilot was unreleased, but created with a working title as SuperWhy?.

On January 2, 2023, a slideshow known as 'Next Generation Kids - PBS Kids' was discovered on SlidePlayer. One of the slides contained a render image for the pilot showing the main character's superhero design and a placeholder image for the series' logo. Interestingly, there was a more-alternated version of the image that was placed behind the render image if we try to edit the slideshow which instead displays "Super Readers to the Rescue" which was also the original name of the final show itself. A second pilot would later get made and pitch to PBS in 2006 this time being made by Curious Pictures and being accepted

During the search, it was believed that the pilot's audio that Pdog64 found was the audio used for the pilot, including the theme song inside of that audio, they were both debunked to be unused when the pilot was found.
