Yotool — Privacy Policy

Spotroot Technology LLP ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Yotool mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our App. By using Yotool, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Name and email address (when signing up via email/password)
Phone number (when signing up via phone OTP)
Google account name and email (when signing in via Google)
Apple ID name and email (when signing in via Apple)
Business-related data you enter: prospect names, phone numbers, addresses, notes, follow-up reminders, and product information
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Device type and operating system version
App usage data (features accessed, actions taken) for improving the product
Push notification tokens (for sending reminders and alerts)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Create and manage your account
Provide core App features: prospect tracking, follow-up reminders, pipeline management
Send push notifications for reminders and updates you have configured
Respond to support requests sent to our contact email
Improve and maintain the App
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to any third party.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the App. Each service processes only the data necessary for its function:
Supabase (supabase.com) — Authentication (email, phone, Google, Apple sign-in) and database storage of your app data. Data is stored on servers in a secure cloud environment.
Amazon Web Services / AWS EC2 (aws.amazon.com) — Our backend server infrastructure that processes API requests between the App and database.
Firebase Cloud Messaging / FCM (firebase.google.com) — Delivery of push notifications to your device. Only your device push token is shared with Firebase; no personal prospect data is transmitted.
Google Sign-In (accounts.google.com) — OAuth authentication. We receive only your name and email address from Google upon sign-in.
Apple Sign-In (apple.com) — OAuth authentication. We receive only your name and email address from Apple upon sign-in.
We do not use any advertising networks, analytics trackers, or data brokers.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases protected by Row Level Security (RLS), ensuring that each user can only access their own data. All data in transit between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from within the App, your personal data and all associated prospect records will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data (via Settings > Delete Account in the App)
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

6. Children's Privacy
Yotool is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at yotool.app@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify you via a notice in the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
