AI for Accessibility Hackathon 2024 Microsoft Thailand (may 10-28, 2024)
I competed in the AI for Accessibility Hackathon 2024, aiming to create innovations that assist individuals with disabilities. My team focused on visual impairments, empathizing with the challenges of independent travel. We developed 'The Great Traveller,' a tool that reads signs such as bus numbers, bathroom sign, and accessible seating , is read aloud in ears. Additionally, it connects to an app that helps navigate their desired route. We utilized Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, including Computer Vision and Bot Service, to enhance functionality along with business model. Clicks
circular economy model of POME(2-29 July, 2024)
Our team participated in a competition on the Circular Economy Model with the EGAT Corporation,focusing on using palm oil mill effluent (POME) from the palm oil industry. POME contains useful tannins, and through anaerobic digestion, we produce biogas, primarily methane, which we use for combustion in a combined cycle power plant. Additionally, the treated POME is used as a coolant in the power plant. We also extract valuable tannins that can be used to produce antibiotics. Finally, the carbon dioxide from the biogas and the process is fed into algae cultivation. Clicks
