As stated in my documentation for my Reverse Engineering Project, focuses on modeling a shake weight. The assembly consists of around 30+ individual parts, with sixteen duplicates. Some of the parts were standard parts such as screws and washers.
The most challenging pieces to model were the more detailed and curved cases of the weights. With the detailed casing, I made sure to start with a basic structure and then work to refine the more detailed areas of the casing. Also, replicating the rubber springs was difficult. Finding the most effective way to build the rubber springs, including many trials on either revolving a shape, cutting, and extruding.
Below is the work progression timeline of this reverse engineering project.
