Verbs I
Unit 1.4
Unit 1.4
"Yoshiyî dægyazh!"
He's crazy!
Yoshispeak's Verb usage is mostly simple due to the grammatical rules shown in the Grammar I unit. Verbs, along with a large chunk of the over vocabulary, will be similar to one another granted that they are related in some way. Also, don't worry about distinguishing between stuff like "Do", "Doing", "Does" since in YĀ they're the same!
/Agya/
Do [The verbiest verb of all]
/Agyabu/
Do not
Something important to remember is that "Agyabu" is NOT used exactly like the "Don't" in English. In English you may say something such as "I do not want to", but in Yoshispeak you would use "Bu" (no/not) so "I not want".
/Agyabu puha!/
Don't touch!
/Yoshio bu puha./
"I don't touch", "I'm not touching"
The only time you use "Don't" would be in sentences such as "Do not eat it" or if it doesn't specify the action like "I don't!". Messing this up would be ugly so make sure to keep that in mind!
Here are some more verbs and nouns you may use:
/Àdo/
Speak, Talk
/Àdo'jozh/
Language
/Zhôr/
Play
/Zhôr'jozh/
Game
As you may have noticed, the nouns associated with some verbs are really just the verbs plus a suffix. We'll talk about this in full in Grammar II.
/ahhke/
Thank, Thanks
(This can be a Verb AND Interjection)

Desire
/houp/
Hurt, Harm, Hit

/puha/
Touch, Feel
/Doupo/
