April 1st, 2022: Our research project "Full picture of the mechanism of crystal growth of compound semiconductors by marine photosynthetic bacteria" has been accepted as a JST Fusion Oriented REsearch for disruptive Science and Technology (FOREST) program.

April 1st, 2022: 3 undergraduate students joined in our group.

March 23rd, 2022: Our latest paper was published in APEX.

November 19th, 2021: Our latest research results about growth of compound semiconductors using marine photosynthetic bacteria were featured in Nihon Keizai Shimbun (one of the national newspapers in Japan).

October 26th, 2021: Our latest paper was published in Physica Status Solidi (a).

September 10th, 2021: Our research project "Visualization and control of ordered structures of bismide III-V compound semiconductors toward revealing the mechanism of their functions" has been accepted as a Grant-in-Aid for Transformative Research Areas (A): "Progressive condensed matter physics inspired by hyper-ordered structures" of JSPS KAKENHI (21H05566).

July 9th, 2021: Our research project "Elucidation and control of formation mechanism for semiconductor crystals on the basis of transfer of electrons and ions performed by bacteria" has been accepted as a Grant-in-Aid for Challenging Research (Exploratory) of JSPS KAKENHI (21K18911).
